3 Steps To Boost Your Self-confidence With Human Design

Build Self-Confidence with Human Design

Human Design is an amazing tool for building self-confidence and self-trust.

Self-confidence crowds out self-doubt, anxiety, and fear.

It keeps us moving forward and helps us show up powerfully to our relationships at home, in our careers, and our business.

We all have moments of self-doubt and insecurity, but we power through.

And, some of us struggle more than others.

Some have to muster up confidence every time we meet a new situation or relationship. It’s hard for some to remember their past moments of courage. They only remember their fear and failure.

And, not all of us can afford to pay for a therapist, counselor, or relationship coach who will consistently remind us to practice faith in ourselves.

A young 30-year-old client of mine once said that she "envied “people who never seemed to question themselves.” They were self-assured and never hesitated to go after what they wanted.

She wanted some of that. How about you?

Do you struggle with inconsistent self-confidence?

An easy way to nurture it is to learn, practice, and trust the process of the Human Design System.

Here is how you do that:

1. Learn Your Human Design Purpose

When you learn your Human Design purpose you will have the first step toward self-confidence.

You will know without a doubt how to direct your natural inclinations and gifts.

Imagine for a moment that you were born a hammer.

From day one, you would know that your job is to drive nails and form sturdy structures. You would know that your hammer-head is perfectly weighted to get the job done, and your handle is perfectly shaped for the human hand. In other words, if you were a hammer, you would know your purpose from birth and have the confidence that you can accomplish that purpose. There would be no hiccup of doubt. Your unquestioning belief in yourself would never fail you.

Human beings also experience an easy flow in their life when they have clarity of purpose and belief in themselves.

If they gain these things early in life, natural confidence grows.

They don’t have to think much about success or failure.

They are less afraid. They just get on with life without mustering courage every step of the way.

If this isn’t your experience, you can grow your confidence with Human Design.

Your Human Design chart tells you your type and it has instructions to help you learn, practice, and grow into self-trust.

Get a free chart here.

There are Five Human Design Types and they each have a job to do.

  • If you are a Reflector, your job is to “read the room” and share helpful adjustments.

  • If you are a Projector, your job is to guide people toward the best use of their Design.

  • If you are a Generator, your job is to become a master at whatever you put your hand to.

  • If you are a Manifesting Generator, your job is to quickly become a master at whatever you put your hand to.

  • If you are a Manifestor, your job is to start meaningful and impactful projects.

2. Follow the Instructions for Your Human Design Type

Did you know that your Human Design Type comes with instructions?

Yes. It’s called your strategy.

It helps you meet your purpose or do your Human Design job with ease. When you use it, you will experience less resistance in your life, career, and relationships.

The more evidence of success you acquire, the more your confidence and self-trust grows.

Imagine that you are a novice carpenter and you’ve bought your first hammer.

In the beginning, it will feel clumsy. There will be a lot of starting over. Sometimes a nail will be driven in crooked and splinter the wood. Other times you might hammer your thumb.

And, if the hammer is used for the wrong purpose, like dusting the furniture, the consequences will be costly.

With time and patience, your aim, swing, and accuracy will improve. You won’t have to think about “how” to use the hammer decreases. You trust your ability. Your confidence grows.

So it is with your Human Design strategy.

Your Human Design strategy helps you stay in your lane of purpose.

• Strategy guides you to fulfill your purpose.

• You will use your Design in the way it was intended.

• It keeps you from hurting yourself and others.

• With time and practice, your self-confidence grows.

3. Trust that the process is working

As I often mention, learning, understanding, practicing, and becoming your Human Design takes time.

For some, it feels like you’ve suddenly been dropped into a foreign country.

Learning the language and culture fluently will take much trial, error, and time. If you have never immigrated to a country or joined a family with a different language or culture, take a minute to imagine what the experience might feel like.

It takes courage and determination to keep going in the beginning.

But the more you become immersed in the culture and language, the small changes pile up. You understand the nuances of your new land and language. Before you know it, it’s hard to tell you apart from a native.

It’s the same with your Human Design. Wonderful changes happen the busier you are at aligning yourself with your Human Design. And because you are busy living your life, you may not notice how much you are changing.

CONCLUSION

Human Design boosts your confidence when you do these three things:

  1. Learn your Human Design purpose.

  2. Practice and experiment with your strategy.

  3. Trust that everything is working as it should.

Little by little, you will become more aligned with who you were meant to be.

Increasingly you will trust your choices and decisions about people, your career, your business, and your environment.

That’s it. That’s all. — Your self-trust and confidence will start to grow all on their own.
